Substructure:
- Enabling works & pile attendance
- Foundation & pile cap construction
- Sewer diversion & below ground drainage network
- Soakaway attenuation tanks
- Watertight ground floor slab
Superstructures:
- 25 storey Reinforced Concrete frames with slipform cores
- 8 storey Reinforced Concrete frame with traditional RC cores
- Precast concrete stairs – installed during slipform construction
- Coordination and installation of protection screens to RC towers due to proximity to railway & road
We have secured a £17m deal to deliver foundations and concrete frame for two 25-storey residential towers in Croydon.
A total of 338 flats will be built in the two towers, with a further 118 flats for shared ownership and social rent built in an adjacent 9-storey stepped complex called Cherry Orchard Gardens.
The Morello Estate project will also include 20,000 sq ft of retail and commercial floor space, new public realm and a new link bridge to East Croydon train station.
